FAITH

THE CHURCH IS HOLY
INDEED, THE CHURCH HAS ITS SHARE OF SINNERS TODAY JUST AS IT DID IN THE EARLY CHURCH. THE FIRST APOSTLES WERE FAR FROM PERFECT, AND HISTORY HASN’T CHANGED HUMAN NATURE TO ELIMINATE THE INCLINATION TO SIN. IT’S ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD THAT THE CHURCH REMAINS INTACT. THE CHURCH IS HOLY – NOT BY VIRTUE OF ITS MEMBERS – BUT BECAUSE OF CHRIST, WHO IS ALL-HOLY, IS ITS HEAD AND IT IS GUIDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT. THE MANY SAINTS, MIRACLES AND CONVERSIONS ARE A FEW OF THE RESULTS OF GOD’S GRACE WORKING IN AND THROUGH THE CHURCH.
