The name Sans brings up a history rich in service with our Ortonville Knight’s Council in Jeff, and the legacy has continued now with the return of the next generation in Garret Sans. With the membership card still damp from the printer Garret has been active, most notably anchoring a position for the Knights’ hosting of the Stations of the Cross. for his “jump right in” mentality we are awarding Garret with the Knight of the Month for March 2026.
Next we turn to two family “pillars” of our parish. These Wife/Husband teams have been involved in so many things that I’m certain you’ve benefited from their charitable works. Most recently Sue and Jim Kelty, with Angie and Ken Sheperd have captained the St. Paul of the Cross Retreats (I believe for the last 10 years in a row!). For this critical support the Officers have selected them for our dual Families of the Month award recipients for March 2026.
Please pray to God in gratitude for these parishioners and thank them when you next see them.
We still have openings to volunteer for the MI Drive fundraiser (Tootsie Roll Weekend) on Palm Sunday weekend, March 27-29. 2025 Donations were over $6,000 which supported Brandon Special Ed, SCAMP, and the Special Olympics. Thanks to all the generosity, and we appreciate this year’s support.
