2024 Year in Review

2024 Year in Review: Support of many hands, support of many gifts, and support of many prayers. With our hands we’ve: flipped pancakes, grown veggies, built enclosures, sanded benches, handed out candy, poured beer and cried “Huzzah!” hauled pumpkins, directed traffic, picked up trash, mended fences, spread stain, chopped wood, sweated a lot, and laughed

While the Maize and Blue stomped the team from the OreO state (sorry, Spartans), our valiant Knights braved the weather to establish parking lot safety and order for our Parishioner Cathy Genovese at her business, the CandyCane CHRISTmas Tree Farm. Candy-cane CHRISTmas Tree Farm

I learned something amazing my first shift parking cars at Candycane CHRISTmas tree farm. (I admit, I wasn’t looking forward to standing in freezing weather for hours on my Thanksgiving weekend). What I learned? EVERYONE who gets out of a car at a Christmas tree farm is filled with the Christmas spirit! It’s truly inspiring.

The Knights are picking pumpkins and corn stalks in support of Cook’s Farm Dairy again, starting this week through the end of the month. In these words, “Jesus lives!” we find the foundation, meaning and mission of our Order. “Vivat Jesus” was introduced around 1980 during the revision of
