2024 Year in Review: Support of many hands, support of many gifts, and support of many prayers. With our hands we’ve:
- flipped pancakes,
- grown veggies,
- built enclosures,
- sanded benches,
- handed out candy,
- poured beer and cried “Huzzah!”
- hauled pumpkins,
- directed traffic,
- picked up trash,
- mended fences,
- spread stain,
- chopped wood,
- sweated a lot, and laughed a bunch.
With the support of many gifts we’ve been able to aid our local community as well as causes farther from home.
We’ve sent $10,000 to support seniors off to college and nearly $2,000 to help evangelize in college campuses with FOCUS campus ministry.
We’ve spent over $3,000 to support our local youth in our parish, and spent some time and money on local neighbors who just needed a hand.
We raised about $4,000 to support pregnant women and the community that helps them through their pregnancy, $4,000 for those with mental challenges, and nearly $8,000 for priests both budding and retired.
We sent $1,000 to support the oppressed in Ukraine and pledged to send the same twice next year. Overall we raised and distributed over $30,000 in 2024.
With our prayers we’ve mourned our fallen brothers and ladies, prayed many rosaries, and joined together in prayer each month in our meetings.
All in all, I feel a warm sense of purpose, of accomplishment, and of fraternity with upstanding Catholic gentlemen (and the parish family). We have been blessed in so many ways, and I pray your 2025 is even more blessed.
