I still recall Bryan raising his hand almost ten years ago asking why our Council didn’t do more to advertise, or showcase our accomplishments. Since then, he’s become our unofficial photographer. His gift of capturing almost humorous candid moments to official ceremonies and award presentations, has documented Council 6824 like no other I’ve seen.
When he was Deputy Grand Knight, working with [Past] Grand Knight Paul Miner, he worked tirelessly to document procedures and budget items that brought clarity to our operations.
As our Grand Knight for the past two years, he set a new standard for communication, writing monthly articles for our parish bulletin and council website, further promoting our little Council’s many achievements under his watch.
He’s supported by his lovely wife, Dr. Carol Born, which I’m sure will be relieved when Bryan passes the Grand Knight gavel on to me and she can have her husband back.
Dr Born, we thank you for all you’ve done for Council 6824, and look forward to you continuing to be a contributing Knight in all we do.
