The Knights held their annual dinner last week, and each year I recap the activities and accomplishments in a slideshow presentation.
I wanted to take this bulletin entry to thank you, the parishioners of St Anne Parish. You’ve been consistently generous with your time and money in support of the Knights and our charities. In future bulletins I’ll be highlighting each charity we supported in the last year with your donations. Today I’d like to announce that we have achieved a new milestone: 2024 had been our greatest fiscal year for charitable contributions at $35,971, supporting 18 charities. 2025 surpassed last year! This fiscal year we have distributed (or have set aside funds for) 21 charities with a total contribution of $45,789! Big ticket items include $5,000 for the Parish Fundraiser, $5,000 for sponsoring two current Seminarians at Sacred Heart Seminary, and $10,000 in scholarships for 6 local High School seniors.
Fr. McGivney began the Knights of Columbus in 1882 and charged us to follow his creed of Charity, Unity and Fraternity. Our Mission Statement: Together, we’re empowering Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parish, at work, and in their community.
Thank you so very much for your support. If you are interested in joining the Knights (or you want your husband to join), please reach out to any Knight, including myself.
