October Knight of the Month

Our October Knight of the Month has been to nearly every event we’ve had in the last two months, and is arguably the most dedicated Knight we’ve had during that time. He spent a 10 hour shift in our Renaissance Festival fundraiser, tied cornstalks for a morning at Cook’s, then went back the next week and hauled pumpkins from the field for their produce pavilion. We even have photo evidence of him picking up a chainsaw while working at our firewood Fundraiser! We would totally give him an award for his work excellence (he’s our priest), but we chose Fr John for our Knight of the Month for his excellence as a Knight. Please congratulate and join us in continuing to pray for him.

Knights of Columbus Council #6824 Recognizes Club Create North Oakland County

Club Create North Oakland County (CCNOC), an art and social class for adults with special needs, was founded by parishioners Robert and Sue White, and Kathy Cole in 2013. Today, CCNOC has 53 active members throughout North Oakland County. Parishioners Fred and Michael White are CCNOC members where Michael is also a Knight and an usher at the 10:30am Sunday Mass. KofC Council #6824 is proud to support CCNOC /Michigan Arts Access through annual contributions. We donated over $1,800 in 2025 from the MI Drive (Tootsie Roll Fundraiser) and an additional $1,000 from our yearly budget. Stop by the Knights Bulletin board in Hardy Hall to see CCNOC artwork and more examples of how Council #6824 is giving back to our community.
