CandyCane CHRISTmas Tree Farm

Our valiant Knights braved the weather from November 22nd thru the 30th to establish parking lot safety and order for our Parishioner Cathy Genovese at her business, the CandyCane CHRISTmas Tree Farm. Our yearly support (which results in a generous donation for our local charities) is always appreciated, and the shortened schedule resulted in even busier days.

28 Knights and two stalwart wives handled 5 days and 63 shifts averaging 4 hours each for an estimated 250 volunteer hours. (Stalwart: Def. Brave, strong, bold, one who firmly supports a cause.-Webster). I’d like to thank the following Knights and Families (in no particular order):

Jim Russell, Jay Noonan (3 shifts!), Bruce Kocer, Bob White, Gary Putt, Scott Ranville, Jeff Stickney, Cheryl Coronado (2), Raoul Coronado (2), Jaime Huerta, Diego Huerta, Andres Huerta, Bob Norris, Bill Venglar, Ken Sheperd (2), Angie Sheperd, Larry Westphal, Matthew Burkhart, Gary Burkhart, Jesse Redburn, Bryan Born, Gerard Schmid, Mike Dlugoss, Don Stalker, Jeff Mackey, Mike Simon, and Tim Andreolli.  Chris Apczynski was super convincing as the Big Guy in Red again this year (for 2 whole weekends)!

Super thanks to Coordinators John Szedlak and Dave Mathes, who unanimously earned the Knights of the Month awards for December. Special Certificates of Appreciation were awarded to Angie Sheperd and Cheryl Coronado.

Make space in your schedule for prayer. Ask Him to show you His good works beyond the glitter and the lights.

Vivat Jesus
