Around the World, the Knights of Columbus are known for defending unborn children and their mothers. We are founded on the tenet to support and defend Catholic widows and children. In anticipation of the end of Roe v. Wade, the Knights in the US launched a program called ASAP- Aid and Support After Pregnancy. A recent study showed that 60% of abortion-minded women say they’d choose life if they just had more material and emotional support. Last year alone we donated more than $6 million to pregnancy resource centers. And in the last 3 years we’ve given more than $17 million to help mothers and children. Our Ultrasound Initiative (launched in 2009) has donated over 2,000 ultrasounds to this cause.
The Oxford Pregnancy Center is one of the recipients of our yearly financial support. Thanks in large part to the CandyCane CHRISTmas Tree Farms donation for parking support, we were able to donate $1,500 in 2025. Thank you to all who stood in the cold for such a good cause.

Our Knights General Meeting is open to all Knights and guests on December 9th. If you’d like to attend, please contact me before the meeting. We begin this month at 7pm in the church to attend Advent Reconciliation. Meeting begins 7:30pm in Solanus Hall.
