The Knight of the Year for 2025 is a Past Grand Knight a decade ago who’s never slowed down in his commitment to the Knights and the parish. He runs our yearly Coats for Kids Donation program, and our Funeral Rosary Ministry for fallen parishioners. He’s a regular woodchuck helping with , leads the Monthly Rosary, serves at the Pancake Breakfasts, and was one of the first to lend a hand behind the scenes for the parish fundraiser. He often assists at weekday masses, and by now you probably have guessed at our Award recipient for 2025: Jim Kelty!
The Family of the Year for 2025: They were most recently instrumental behind the scenes for the Parish fundraiser (he tended bar all night with little break.) They’ve been front and center over the last year, holding down multiple shifts at the Tootsie Roll Drive, at pumpkin picking fundraiser for Cook’s, and Parking at Candycane for the Genovese’s. He’s been head grillmaster at the Pancake Breakfasts lately, and he donates his time to the Grace Center for Hope in Flint. He’s a Regular woodlot worker, and I’m sure there’s more, but this puts this power couple in the top of our Council families. Our award recipients for 2025 are Cheryl and Raoul Coronado!
Please be sure to congratulate and thank them for their service to our parish, and keep them in your prayers.
Bryan Born, Grand Knight
