I learned something amazing my first shift parking cars at Candycane CHRISTmas tree farm. (I admit, I wasn’t looking forward to standing in freezing weather for hours on my Thanksgiving weekend). The Knights of Columbus Council St Anne’s parish fully supports evangelization efforts by the youth and young adults of our community. Our local parishioner Sarah Andrus (who spoke at all the masses this summer) has partnered with FOCUS (Fellowship Of Catholic University Students) and is on the campus of the Minnesota State University – Mankato.

For the Knights of Columbus, that means not only running charity fundraisers to support local organizations (like the  Club Create North Oakland County highlighted last week), but also using our time and talent for non-monetary charity. Club Create North Oakland County (CCNOC), an art and social class for adults with special needs, was founded by parishioners Robert and Sue White, and Kathy Cole in 2013.
